Kadence's Actual Birthday

After a big birthday party the day before my birthday, I was pretty wiped out on my actual birthday. I decided that it was my birthday and I'll celebrate how I want to...in my pajamas all day!

I started the day by playing with my new toys, dancing to the tunes and talking on my new purple phone.

I cuddled on the couch with my favorite guy and my new giant puppy and was given another birthday present from Quincy.

I knew it really was a special day when Mama let me play bubbles IN THE HOUSE!

And when I did finally leave the house the next day, I was greeted by a carseat that now faces the front of the car. It's official. I'm all grown up.

Praise the Lord

This is one of Kadence's tricks but she usually will only perform when she is confined to her highchair.

My First Birthday Party!!!

It was a big day that we celebrated with a 'birdie' party. Nana helped Mama with the food and decorations. It looked beautiful.

I looked pretty darn cute, too. Mama made my ruffly outfit. All my favorite people came to celebrate with me.

We jumped and threw balls in the bounce house. I've got a pretty good arm they tell me.

Since I'm such a big girl, I got a new table just for me and my friends from Nana and Papa Cossell.

I was so surprised when I saw a bunch of animals show up for my very own petting zoo! Quincy got to take a goat for a walk on a leash. My friends got to pet all the different kinds of birds and rabbit and goats. The chicken even sat on Nathan's head!

Uncle Steve and Dada proved to be good sports when they also agreed to wear a chicken on their head.

Then, there was cake. That's what Quincy was waiting for all day. I got my very own big birthday cake!! I started out cautiously, but got more and more aggressive as time went by.

Did you seriously give me this entire cake all to myself? This must be some type of mistake!

And here, Mama insists on me wearing a hat. No, thank you!

I made good use of my sugar-high in my bounce house.

And then I got to open presents.
I love stuffed animals so I got a huge puppy from Madeline.

And Uncle Matt and Auntie Amanda gave me the loudest, most annoying gift according to my Mama. I just love dancing to all the tunes.

And here I am, stripped-down, since I had cake all over. It was a good day!
